Good Questions
Most caps absorb UV and sunlight and heat up. Halo OG1 converts part of that energy into red and near-infrared light at your scalp and hairline, with UPF 50+ protection and cooler comfort.
Red and near-infrared light have been widely studied for the scalp and hair, mostly with LED and laser devices. Halo OG1 delivers that light passively whenever you're outside.
Not at all. Halo OG1 wears like a premium everyday cap. It just happens to have red light built in. No batteries. No charging. No special routine.
Yes. A 12-week pilot study at Wake Forest University School of Medicine evaluated red and near-infrared emitting apparel, including the Halo OG1 cap, in people with alopecia areata, psoriasis, and polymorphous light eruption. Participants who completed the study showed clinical stability or improvement, including visible improvements in psoriasis and improved alopecia severity scores.
No. UV2RED is in the fiber, not a coating. Like any light-converting material, output may shift slightly over the life of the cap.
